Philosophy & Values
My philosophy as an M&A advisor developed during my career in banking. I worked with many business owners who told me of their frustration with the M&A process. What they really wanted, they told me, was confidentiality, accountability, transparency, and the feeling that their advisor was doing what was right for them 100% of the time—and I wanted to give it to them.
To me, the only reason anyone should do what I do is if they genuinely want to help people achieve their goals. If you are an advisor to business owners, this might be a good thing to keep in mind when helping your clients choose an M&A advisor. Then again, it’s just my opinion!
My values are pretty simple. I firmly believe in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. My mother taught me that and it’s been part of me ever since. I value patience and doing the right thing even when it isn’t easy. Living and breathing these values is part of my mission to enrich the lives of others through education, partnership, and meeting my clients’ needs.
